Unfortunately, this cherished establishment is now facing disproportionate council enforcement that threatens its survival.
 
Specifically, the owners are facing a demand for £50,000 worth of remedial work to be completed within an unfeasible 4.5-day timeframe following noise complaints from a single individual. The owners have proactively cooperated with the council and commissioned independent sound tests. However, the complainant has not attempted to engage directly with the owners to resolve the matter amicably, and the Council's harsh measures lack proportionality and fail to consider the unique circumstances of this family enterprise.
