We are not all wealthy pensioners. The majority of pensioners have their state pension and a small private pension that takes them over the threshold to claim pension credit. Most of these MPs and presenters are very well paid and seem to forget the majority of pensioners are struggling. Reinstate the Winter Fuel Payment for all pensioners. It is disgusting that MPs and economic migrants get free heating whilst pensioners get the cold shoulder. You are told to save for your old age and when you do the government punish you. I am not of state pension age yet because the government moved the goalposts. Why does the government appear to begrudge the pensioners a retirement.We have money for Net zero, wars, foreign aid but nothing for farmers and pensioners. This country is a disgrace.

These shows had strong fanbases but were canceled, unofficially due to not generating massive profits, even though they were still profitable. My Lady Jane, The Wilds, and Fallout are the only shows I've truly enjoyed from Amazon, and prioritizing short-term profits over loyal viewers just isn't okay with me. One show I like staying isn’t enough to keep my investment in a platform that doesn’t value its audience.

I had never claimed benefits before, but in recent years, I’ve had no choice. The financial support from PIP and LCWRA has been a lifeline for me, my family, and my children, as Universal Credit alone is simply not enough to survive on.
On top of the daily struggles that come with being disabled, I have also faced relentless discrimination and bureaucracy when dealing with the DWP and Universal Credit offices. I have had abrupt UC closures and overpayment notices—errors caused by DWP processes, not claimants like me—leading to constant uncertainty and distress.
Now, with the proposed cuts to disability benefits, my future and my family’s security are at risk. If I lose PIP under the new “four-point rule” in 2026 and my LCWRA payment of £416.19 is halved or removed under the UC health element changes, what financial support will be left for me,my family and young children ? These reforms will only push disabled people further into poverty, leaving us without the means to live with dignity.
Abolishing the Work Capability Assessment and restricting PIP to only the “severely disabled” is a cruel and dangerous move. Who decides what counts as “severely disabled”? Even experienced medical professionals struggle to define it, and the reality is that many of us who rely on these benefits—those who can barely walk, who need mobility aids, mental health support,specialist equipment, and daily support—will be left with nothing.
If the government needs to balance the budget, they should look elsewhere, not target the most vulnerable. Welfare benefits exist to uphold financial rights under the Equality Act 2010, not as a political bargaining chip.
That’s why I strongly support this vital campaign led by the Honourable Richard Burgon MP. We must stand together to protect the financial security and dignity of disabled people. Cutting disability support is not the answer—taxing extreme wealth is. I do not understand politics but I understand disability and the issues faced by disabled people , family and children due to my lived experience. I want our voices to be amplified and listened at the parliament and I truly wish this campaign delivers our voices through this campaign . Wishing this campaign the success it deserves.

The immigration numbers are understandably too high, but those with advanced qualifications, working in sophisticated roles and paying high taxes should not be punished for the Conservatives' mismanagement of the immigration policy. I call for clarity in planning and urge the government not to apply the policy changes retrospectively to those who have already made life-changing decisions to commit themselves to life in the UK.
