Unfairly portrayed. Deeply valued. Urgently needed. Let’s stand with him and show our support!

We stand with our GP/Obstetrician, Dr Osman Darwiche. 

For years, he has cared for our families, delivered generations of local babies, shown up at all hours, and supported people through some of the most important and difficult moments of their lives. He has never turned patients away and has been a constant, trusted presence in our community.

Right now, it is deeply concerning and, in our view, unfair how he is being portrayed in the media while the investigation is still ongoing and no findings have been made. The language used has been misleading and has the potential to cause significant harm to his reputation and to the community.

And our community knows the truth of who he is.

The outpouring of support across social media speaks volumes — story after story from people whose lives he has touched, families he has cared for, and patients who trust him deeply.

This isn’t just about one doctor — this is about all of us.

Because of what’s happening, we are already feeling the impact. Access to essential healthcare, including obstetric services, is being affected, leaving families uncertain and unsupported.

We are asking for fairness.

We are asking for due process.

We are asking for responsible reporting.

And we are calling for his immediate reinstatement so our community can continue to access the care we rely on. We don’t want a new doctor. We want our doctor. 

Most of all — we are standing up for someone who has always stood up for us.
