The petition of the undersigned, comprising of citizens of British Columbia, who have an interest in the community of Thetis Island, states that:

• We object to the potential removal of Howling Wolf Farm Market, the Summer Market, and the dock and decking across the road from the Market, located on and adjacent to Lot 69 on Thetis Island, British Columbia.

• We value the service that Howling Wolf Farm Market provides to the community and those who visit it.

• We believe Howling Wolf Farm Market provides safe, low-impact, public access to recreation consistent with the vision of Islands Trust and our community plan.

Your petitioners respectfully request that Islands Trust will stop any consideration for the Market’s removal immediately, or, should this not be possible, that the Market be given legacy status so that it can remain a valuable asset to the community.
