The Issue

Staff are NOT asking for more money. They are fighting to save their existing salaries. Would you take a 22% pay cut?

Over recent months, support staff at Codsall Middle School, St Nicholas First School, and Birches First School have been facing the devastating news of potential pay cuts that could drastically impact their livelihoods. Proposals indicate that  these cuts could be as high as 22%, a figure that is not just unreasonable but also unjust.

You know us. Your children know us. Your families know us. We know that you value our passion, dedication and care in all aspects of our work.

From administrative duties, residential trips to classroom support, we continue to contribute to the high level of education our community deserves.

It would be a grave injustice to punish  hardworking individuals with a reduction in pay when they are already contributing so much to the educational community.

We urge CMAT and the relevant educational authorities to reconsider these proposed pay cuts.

Join us in standing in solidarity with the support staff at Codsall Middle School, St Nicholas First School, and Birches First School.

Please sign this petition to support our community's vital workers and help prevent these damaging cuts.
