Students at Emmanuel College in Warrnambool deserve the chance to partake in the time-honored tradition of a Debutante Ball. Unfortunately, our Year 11 students have been missing this opportunity due to current school policies. The Debutante Ball is not just an event it is a unique, once in a lifetime, educational experience for many students. It fosters a sense of community, builds confidence, and allows students to celebrate their social accomplishments in a memorable way.

We are calling on the school administrators and the Emmanuel College Board to reconsider their stance and support the organization of a Year 11 Debutante Ball. With support from the community, logistical planning, and adherence to safety guidelines, this event can be held successfully.
