I’m a concerned Australian citizen, deeply troubled by the increasing hatred that now permeates our country in the form of antisemitism. The shocking massacre at Bondi Beach on December 14, where innocent lives were brutally taken, is a stark wake-up call for all of us. It's not just an isolated event but a symptom of a growing menace that we must confront head-on.

The rise of antisemitism in Australia poses a grave threat to our nation's core values of inclusivity, respect, and multicultural harmony. It's essential to understand the root causes and implement measures to prevent further acts of hate.

This is why we're calling for a federal royal commission to investigate these heinous events and the disturbing trend of anti-Jewish sentiment. A royal commission would have the authority to thoroughly examine the factors contributing to these issues and recommend policies to effectively combat them.
