This museum is a great attraction in Sunderland to visit for everyone and a great day out for families; ideally located on the current National Rail network - the museum is very educational and includes a lot of heritage from local North East transport. The railway carriage and former Monkwearmouth station themselves have so much history to them. Please do not close this great attraction!

We do not want a temporary closure either!
