This is a petition to have the Sheridan Residence COVID-19 Guest Policy repealed. Many Sheridan residents are struggling with their mental health as a result of not being able to see their friends and family and watching their peers attend unregulated off-campus parties, potentially exposing themselves to COVID-19. 

By signing this petition, you agree that Sheridan residents should be able to sign in at least one guest at a time and have at least ten overnight visitors per month. In addition to the government-mandated vaccinations and screenings, permitting one guest rather than two (in comparison to previous years) will allow students to interact with those who are important to them in a safe and controlled environment.
