To whom this may concern, the following is a plea for all students from MCISD to be passed onto their following level of education.

As you may know, the world is facing a crisis, COVID-19, and has forced all schools to close down. With all due respect, our schools were not prepared for a catastrophe of this magnitude. Students and teachers have tried to accommodate themselves with the given resources, but this has been very difficult. Unlike being in a classroom, there are certain restrictions that come along with online education. Teachers expect students to turn in projects, assignments, tests and other tasks via the internet. We must take in consideration that many families who form a part of our community don't have the required technology or resources to meet these expectations. 

Education is essential, but asking students to sacrifice privileges that one-on-one teaching provides is unjust. Students should not be held accountable for a situation that is completely out of their control. Don't let this define our future, help us by signing this petition.
