Respondus has many concerning issues to the students at the University of Guelph. These concerning issues are privacy, and the projected anxiety given while being watched by your computer. This anxiety stems from having all eyes on you while writing an important exam, which would be less when writing in a room full of people in person. Many other universities such as Western, and various professors at the University of Guelph have taken these concerns into consideration and fully removed it. We believe respondus lockdown is affecting our performance, and are petitioning to get it removed.
