PlayStation Network (PSN), managed by Sony Interactive Entertainment, is banning and suspending users without fair investigation or due process. These actions are often based on unverified user reports, with no clear explanation, no context review, and no opportunity for users to defend themselves.

 

As a long-time PlayStation user, I’ve personally invested thousands of dollars in games, content, and subscriptions — only to have my account permanently banned without a proper review and with no option for a refund. And I’m not alone.

 

The current system is broken:

 

Reports are accepted without verifying context
Account bans are issued instantly and often permanently
Appeals (if available) are slow, unhelpful, or completely ignored
Users lose access to digital purchases with no compensation

 

 

This is not just unfair — it’s a violation of basic consumer rights.

 

We are calling on Sony to:

 

Implement transparent enforcement policies
Provide real, human-reviewed appeal processes
Offer refunds or reinstatements for unjust bans
Protect freedom of speech within reasonable guidelines
Be accountable to the community that supports and funds them

 

 

We love PlayStation — but the system needs to change.
