So my father is currently in the military. However, he also has a medical history of gender dysphoria. As of now, people with a medical history of either gender dysphoria or symptoms of it may be discharged (or will lose a bonus pay apparently according to my dad) from the military. According to a news article, over 1,000 trans or gender dysphoria-experiencing soldiers might lose their job and most likely their main source of income. Many people have family to support - my situation included - or dreams to make come true. They might be single and/or not have another source of income. This may not be the end of transphobia but it's a first step to trans rights. Thank you for signing this.

Edit: Apparently at least my father is getting kicked out without money. Other trans people might get the same treatment.
