I support this cause because I feel like the flag represents a specific political belief, not just a symbol of inclusion. For some, it conflicts with personal or religious values. I believe campus spaces should stay neutral and not promote one group's views over others. Having this flag up makes some people uncomfortable and can feel divisive. I think it's very important to respect everyone's beliefs and keep a balance on campus.

I was raised in a home where public areas were kept free of any group specific symbols or flags. I don’t think inclusivity works by highlighting one group over others in common spaces. I loved my time at UVU and made lifelong friends. The reason for that being that I felt so welcomed and safe. I don't agree whatsoever with what Charlie Kirk was spreading. I feel sad that his family will have to continue life without him, but I dont feel as though he needs a memorial dedicated to him. I dont think he stood for inclusion and equality like UVU does.
