We must stop this war right now-there's not more putting it off, this needs to end now!

The Russo-Ukraine is a big issue that inflicts devastating consequences, causing immense suffering, loss of life, and widespread destruction. This conflict has led to a severe humanitarian crisis, economic decline, and regional instability. It is of the utmost importance that we recognize the urgency to prevent this war from escalating and work towards a peaceful resolution.

It's been a long time since the last two world wars that divided the world into two sides. The 1900s was filled with wars and conflicts that tore humans apart, and now, about 80 years later, we might be on the brink of a new war.

But why stop the war AFTER all these powerful countries join in? Think about the destruction that could happen with atomic bombs and new technologies. No-we need to stop this war before it escalates. Not a ceasefire or a standstill, this war must end!

So far, there have been 13,000 deaths and around 18,000 injured and has caused $100 billion in infrastructure damage in Ukraine alone. If this war to continue, it could have devastating consequences on the rest of the world.  Following the years of the world wars, countries spent billions of dollars on economic reform and faced problems like inflation and debt. With countries like the United Kingdom having the longest period without economic growth ever and Germany being the slowest growing G7(Canada, France, Germany, Italy, UK, USA, and Japan) economy and was the only one of the group to shrink last year. It would be terrible for most countries if the world fell into another war.

There are nearly 7 million refugees in Ukraine due to the war. Missile attacks have severely damaged the energy infrastructures across Ukraine preventing public access to clean water, electricity, heating, healthcare, and education. Something that could drastically help is donations. Each donation could alter the course of someone's life and even a small donation can go a long way. "Donors have been incredibly generous over the past years" - the UN high commissioner for refugees says.

This goal isn't something that one group of people or one country can achieve alone. For this cause, countries across the world, must work together. While the conflict is in Europe now, it could easily spread across the world. Without the help of everyone, it will be impossible to stop this war and protect human rights.

It is also important to understand that war is like a huge cycle. When one war starts, it leads to another war which leads to more and more wars. The only ways to break out of this cycle is for more democratic systems to emerge, promote peace and nonviolence, and for a security system to be put into place.
