To the United Nations,

We, concerned citizens from across the globe, call on the United Nations to take immediate and decisive action in response to the military attacks on Iran and the widespread violations of civilian rights.In recent days, many civilians—including women and children—have been killed or displaced. Residential areas have been targeted and destroyed. These acts represent a grave violation of the core principles of the UN Charter, especially Articles 1 and 2, which emphasize the maintenance of international peace and security, and prohibit the use of force against the territorial integrity of any state.

Accordingly, we urge the United Nations and its affiliated bodies in defense of the fundamental rights of the Iranian people to:
 • Condemn the military attacks on Iranian territory and call for an immediate, full, and unconditional ceasefire
 • Activate international mechanisms for the protection of civilians and enable humanitarian monitoring on the ground
 • Reaffirm the global legal and moral obligation to protect civilian lives under international humanitarian law, including the Geneva Conventions

This is a humanitarian call — for peace, dignity, and justice.
The world must not remain silent in the face of this suffering.

The time to act is now.

خطاب به سازمان ملل متحد،

ما، جمعی از شهروندان نگران از سراسر جهان، از سازمان ملل متحد درخواست داریم که فوراً و قاطعانه در برابر حملات نظامی به ایران و نقض گسترده حقوق غیرنظامیان واکنش نشان دهد.

در روزهای اخیر، شمار زیادی از غیرنظامیان، از جمله زنان و کودکان، کشته یا آواره شده‌اند و مناطق مسکونی هدف حمله قرار گرفته‌اند. این اقدامات نه‌تنها نقض جدی اصول بنیادین منشور سازمان ملل، به‌ویژه مواد ۱ و ۲ آن است که بر حفظ صلح، امنیت بین‌المللی و خودداری از تهدید یا توسل به زور علیه تمامیت ارضی کشورها تأکید دارد، بلکه مصداق بارز نقض حقوق بشردوستانه بین‌المللی است.

در این راستا، ما از سازمان ملل متحد و نهادهای وابسته در راستای دفاع از حقوق بنیادین مردم ایران درخواست می‌کنیم که:
 • حملات نظامی به خاک ایران را محکوم کرده و خواستار آتش‌بس فوری، کامل و بدون قید و شرط شوند
 • سازوکارهای بین‌المللی برای حفاظت از غیرنظامیان و نظارت بشردوستانه در محل را فعال نمایند
 • بر اساس حقوق بین‌الملل بشردوستانه، از جمله کنوانسیون‌های ژنو، بر تعهد قانونی و اخلاقی جامعه جهانی برای حفاظت از جان غیرنظامیان تأکید نمایند

این یک فراخوان انسانی است — برای صلح، برای کرامت انسان، و برای پاسداشت قانون.
جهان نباید در برابر رنج مردم ایران سکوت کند.

زمان عمل، اکنون است.
