There are plans to build a 'House of Multiple Occupancy, or HMO.' This is planned at the former Hinckley Post Office. Hinckley Independents, parents, and residents have expressed grave concerns about these plans. There are serious safety issues with it, most significant are to school children and young mums. While also the larger geographical area and its residents. There is a large possibility the building will house asylum seekers/illegal migrants. There have been several high profile cases, where the aforementioned demographics have been attacked.  One as close as Nuneaton, where a 12 year old was allegedly raped. The case currently being heard at Warwickshire Crown Court. It is therefore Hinckley Independents are in opposition to this, and would appreciate your signature to oppose this development.
