Dear Mr. President, Senators and Representatives of the People of the United States of America;

We must immediately take action to make it illegal for any person, entity, owner of a business, CEO, COO or any officer/board member of said entity, company or corporation to lobby, donate money, favors or any gifts to anyone in Congress or any federal employee of any type in order to influence any type of decision or vote in any way over the worth or amount of $2,000. Since the Supreme Court has seen fit to rule that Corporations have the same rights as citizens then they should be restricted in the same ways as a citizen. We must Stop the corruption of our government with money, gifts or favors. There must be a stiff fine - double the worth or amount of what was illegally offered for the influence and a term of imprisonment of 5 years to life for the person, entity, owner of a business, CEO, COO or any officer/board member of said entity, company or corporation lobbying and for the person accepting money, favors or any gifts over the amount of $2,000 for said influence.
An independent ethics committee made up of 12 citizens not involved with government or elections in any way should be set up and maintained on a yearly basis with a leader chosen by said committee. Much like a jury. The citizens shall be chosen by a lottery type drawing made up of names solicited from every state of the Union. Said citizens shall be compensated at a rate equal to what they would have been paid at their place of business, employment or unemployment. It shall be illegal for any company, place of employment or business, etc to not allow or threaten dismissal of an employee who wishes to volunteer for said committee.

This is just an initial thought and suggestions and additions are welcome.
