Petition updateStop the College Board’s Adversity Scoring on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT)Close to 6,000 signatures! But CB’s CEO thinks 2+2=5 is OK as long as you can justify the answer

The CEO of the College Board has been busy making media appearances to defend adversity scoring.  There is no question that it has been a PR disaster.  David Coleman, the CEO of CB, was also the architect of Common Core.  Per Common Core, 2+2=5 is an acceptable answer as long as you can provide a reason to justify it.

The stakes have never been higher in today’s global competition for technological supremacy in the age of AI.  The stakes are even higher now than in 1957.  It will determine whether our nation will remain a world power or be relegated to a Third World vassal state.  We must make sure that our universities admit the best and brightest.  A student’s race, ethnicity, or economic background has absolutely no relevance to competency in STEM.
