Save New Mills Heritage Centre.

For over 30 years New Mills Heritage Centre has been situated on Rock Mill Lane; managed and run by a team of loyal and highly experienced volunteers.

NMTC have taken the decision to move the centre out of the town centre without public consultation at an significant financial cost to the town council

The volunteers have not been consulted or kept informed of this and the closing date is April 14th. 

The current location is ideally situated in the middle of the Town Centre and the proposed move will make it more difficult to visit particularly for those with mobility problems.

New Mills residents deserve the right to be consulted on this in line with the Town Councils Community Engagement policy.
