I realize there are other petitions ongoing about the horse roundups but we can't do enough to put an end to this UNNECESSARY and CRUEL endeavor.  We need to be vigilant in our demand that these roundups stop!  We also need to hold those responsible, accountable for their actions.  How is it that these beautiful horses look to be in fine shape yet BLM officials claim "horses are starving" and if, in fact, these horses were starving.... how could the BLM authorize a 300% increase in the number of cattle that could graze in the very SAME area???!!!!
This is but one example of the hypocrasy the BLM allows and promotes so it can justify the roundups.
Now, with the BLM allowing a natural gas pipeline to be constructed across the horse's range (Wyoming to Oregon, including Nevada and parts of California), take a guess what that means....... more roundups and more deaths of wild horses!  (BP also has "ties" to this pipeline as it will be using it partially, after it's completion)
So, in conclusion, we NEED to put an END to these roundups!  We need to demand transparency in what is taking place and who is REALLY behind it ( "Big Agriculture & Big Oil/Gas" ) !!!  This is a BLATANT MISUSE OF TAX-PAYER LAND & DOLLARS!!!!
