The Issue

It should not matter how rich you are, who your lawyers are, or what names are in your contact list. If you are convicted of sex trafficking minors, you should serve your sentence just like everyone else.

But according to two former employees at Federal Prison Camp Bryan, Ghislaine Maxwell, convicted of recruiting underage girls for Jeffrey Epstein, may be getting VIP treatment behind bars. These whistleblowers say Maxwell has enjoyed private meetings with the warden, special meals sent to her dorm, late-night access to gym facilities, and help coordinating outside communications—all privileges not typically granted to other inmates.

This kind of special access for a convicted sex offender is not only unfair but deeply offensive to the survivors of Epstein and Maxwell's crimes. It sends a message that wealth and influence still buy protection, even after a guilty verdict.

One of the whistleblowers, a nurse named Noella Turnage, was reportedly fired just a day after congressional staffers received her testimony. Another long-serving officer, Ashley Anderson, also lost her job after speaking up. If true, this is retaliation, and it’s illegal.

We demand that the Bureau of Prisons immediately investigate whether Ghislaine Maxwell has received improper privileges at FPC Bryan. Any staff who enabled special treatment must be held accountable. Congress should also step in to ensure there are real consequences for any violations and that whistleblowers are protected, not punished.

Justice doesn’t end at sentencing. It requires equal treatment under the law. No more special deals for the powerful. Stand with us in demanding a prison system that serves justice, not privilege.

Sign now if you believe no one—no matter how wealthy or well-connected—should be above the rules.
