SB651: Please don't ban E-cigs it's only vapor, helps stop smoking, no toxins & promotes jobs. Q&A: HawaiiVapersUnited@gmail.com

The Issue

It's a better alternative for all the smokers out there, which helps our community to stop smoking. Anything consumed at a higher dosage will only end up in the same results as any other. Whether its nicotine patches, nicorette gums, caffeine pills etc. E-cigs shouldn’t be banned if it helps saves lives and gives jobs for the people here in Hawaii. We are kindly requesting not to inhibit our rights especially in our own privacy of our homes.

Vaping is vapor, mist, steam that shouldn’t be prohibited in any public or housing project, elder or elderly household, or state low-income housing project. "Vapor" is condensation, moisture, etc. which does not fall under the category of "Smoke". FDA has not reached a decision; so therefore prohibiting "E-cigs” by all means is a little questionable. "All common areas" or the "Twenty feet" rule from each individual building of the public housing project or state low-income housing project, and so forth should be allowed. It doesn't fall under the category of SB651 “Smoking”.
