Goal

This is a petition to ask the creator of Huggy Wuggy, Zach Belanger, to shut down the game Poppy Playtime and all related content. This includes all fan-created content.

Why?

Because Poppy Playtime, Huggy Wuggy and its themes have proven dangerous to the physical and mental health of children and adults.

Examples:

• Fans are making videos that include Huggy Wuggy killing children and singing a horrible song, and teaching them to kill their parents.
• This is inspiring some children to behave inappropriately at school. Children are hugging other kids at school, without consent, and singing the creepy Huggy Wuggy song.
• Children are feeling scared and weird.
• The videos are inspiring dangerous people to be violent towards other people.
• Many children are showing signs of significant anxiety about Huggy Wuggy and having bad dreams that make it tricky for them to feel comfortable, safe, and to focus at school.

We know that a lot of the problems stem from fan-created content. However, it is important to know that the fan-created content could not exist without the original Poppy Playtime game. This is why we want the entire Poppy Playtime game and all Huggy Wuggy content to be shut down.

So what can we do?

Please sign the petition to request Zach Belanger to shut down Poppy Playtime and all related content. You can also share this with your network of friends and family so that more people are aware of the dangers of Poppy Playtime and Huggy Wuggy conteant.
