The issue

Myself and various other women and children have been victims of online bullying and harassment on the app called TikTok. This has caused significant stress on many of us. Perpetrators like Imraaz Ali, Mohammad Iqbal, Divya Chetty, and Anis Gwaizda have been fabricating lies, defaming women and children, actively broadcasting on their LIVE sessions belittling, swearing, using derogatory offensive languages, harassing and bullying their victims.

TikTok claims to foster a safe platform for creativity and community, yet these incidents show a glaring failure in its duty to protect users from vicious attacks. The policies in place appear inadequate to deal with these heinous actions, allowing perpetrators to freely engage in harmful behaviours without serious repercussions.

Online bullying and harassment are not just virtual threats; they have real-world consequences that can damage the mental health and well-being of individuals, especially vulnerable groups like women and children. Many victims suffer in silence, plagued by anxiety, depression, and a loss of self-worth, all of which can lead to more severe, long-lasting impacts.

There is an urgent need to enforce stricter regulations and preventive measures on TikTok to curb this kind of abusive conduct. This can include implementing more robust reporting systems, enhancing AI to detect offensive content faster, mandating verified user profiles to deter fake account misuse, and imposing stricter penalties for those found guilty of bullying and harassment.

Victims deserve justice and a voice. Their stories should not be dismissed but rather heard and acted upon by the platform that promised them space for expression. It's time for TikTok to uphold its responsibility and take proactive steps to safeguard its users.

Furthermore we would like to engage individual governing power within Australia, New Zealand and Fiji where these Perpetrators reside, so that they can be charged and justice given to the victims of this crime.

Some of these Perpetrators named in this petition has have been charged in the past for the same crime . Please read click on the link below to find out more.
