Pets are more than just an animal they are part of the family and grief is real when they pass away. For a pet to die at the hands of heartless criminals who could have prevented this from happening must be devastating. The loss of the pet cannot be replaced through insurance unlike a car or other not living belongings, therefore the punishment must be inline with the severity of the crime.

What happened to Arnie is equivelant to the same thing happening to a infant child strapped in the back seat - in this situation - and should be handled in the same. way.

I know because our landlord with a fondness for listening to Hitler and going on about government conspiracies and fine evasion was both. They have effectively hijacked the Australian flag and rebranded it as a symbol of hate and intolerance, and have shown contempt for the Indigenous Australian flag and have seriously assaulted women at a sacred campsite. This is disgraceful and puts everyone at risk from these violent neonazis who also have zero genuine respect for women. As an Australian citizen, I expect the government to put a stop to it all, definitively and swiftly but question, how has this been enabled to this point? Which authorities have been asleep at the wheel on letting the very ideology our ancestors fought in WWII against be allowed to fester and gain traction? Where are the mass arrests of Nazis in our streeets from police? Jacinda Ardern had ten times more backbone than any leadership here. Deport this man, and all those who align with this evil ideology, and let families feel safe again to visit the capital cities of a Sunday afternoon.
