As a concerned citizen deeply troubled by the ongoing events, I urge others to join me in opposing King Charles' visit to the United States while it continues to wage an unconstitutional and illegal war in Iran. The UK has long been an advocate for democracy and international law, and it is crucial that we uphold these values now more than ever.

The dreadful violence unleashed in Iran by Trump's regime lacks UN approval and flies in the face of international treaties that demand respect for the sovereignty of nations. This reckless venture not only heightens regional instability but has already killed thousands of innocent people. Our leaders, including the Monarchy, must not in any way appear to be endorsing such actions.

King Charles is a symbol of our nation, and the vast majority of Brits deplore this wicked violence. The UK and its King should stand firmly with the principles of justice and legality - or else, what's the point of a Monarch? 

Historical precedents remind us of the disasters birthed by unchecked power and aggression, not least the actions of the US in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya, and now Iran. When will it end? The UK must not stand by silently as this dreadful war continues. We must demand adherence to international standards and speak out against reckless actions that kill innocent people and risk global peace and security.

We call on governments, diplomats, and influential public figures to express our collective disapproval of this visit. We must send a powerful message that aligns with our theoretical commitment to peace and justice.
