The issue

For months now, my family and others in our community have been experiencing a significant problem caused by Gary, the owner of Dirt Monkey. Gary has been leaving behind tree wastage and huge logs at people's properties without any form of payment or compensation. Despite several offers of payment from those in need, Gary chooses to abandon these burdensome wastes, expecting others to dispose of them at their own time, effort, and cost.

This issue has become unbearably personal and distressing for my family. We generously offered our help to Gary, hoping that he would reciprocate the favor when we needed it. Instead, we're faced with an unsightly heap of logs and debris that is not only an eyesore but is also becoming a legal issue for us. We are threatened with fines that could result in us losing our home, potentially forcing our kids onto the streets. I have now since got rid of the debris myself which took me a few weeks to months. Gary still needs to stop leaving waste everywhere and find his own way to get it to the tip or a designated area that will allow burn permits. He needs to be held accountable for his waste and not sticking to his agreements with people.

Gary's refusal to aid, despite being offered payment, shows a blatant disregard for the community that has continuously supported him. It's time for us to stand together and let Gary know that enough is enough. We must put a stop to this unfair dumping practice and hold him accountable for his actions.

We demand that Gary from Dirt Monkey cease his exploitation of community goodwill or stop leaving it on others properties. Our suggestion is simple and fair: request Gary to organize and facilitate the removal and proper disposal of the waste he leaves behind anywhere. This method promotes a mutual relationship of respect and ensures that no family feels cornered or abandoned.

Statistics and environmental guidelines clearly show the detrimental effects of improper waste disposal. According to reputable sources, tree waste left unmanaged can lead to various environmental issues, including habitat disruption and soil contamination, further impacting our local ecosystem.

It’s time for our plea to be heard. Let us band together to ask for the support of local authorities and demand action. We must ensure that practices from businesses like Dirt Monkey are sustainable, respectful, and community-centered.

Sign this petition to raise awareness and demand change. Together, we can foster a community where support is reciprocal, and no family is left to grapple alone with the consequences of neglected responsibility. Stand with us in urging Gary from Dirt Monkey to right this wrong and support us just as we have supported him. Enough is enough.
