Why should DVLA be allowed to sell your personal information to private profit making companies ( Private parking co's).

Any other organisation would not be allowed to do this. 

Private parking companies have blocked regulation by the government and have 'volunteered' to regulate themselves. Without our data being sold by DVLA they would not be making the huge profits and creating the unregulated hardship they now enjoy.
