I went wild swimming last year and got early stage sepsis out of the water. It was a wake up call. I started to research what’s going on, the results are shocking. Every year, millions of gallons of untreated sewage are dumped into our rivers and seas, posing severe health risks to swimmers, wildlife, and the environment. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), over 850 billion gallons of untreated wastewater are released annually.

This pollution not only endangers human health but also devastates marine ecosystems, killing fish and other aquatic life. We must take immediate action to stop this harmful practice by enforcing stricter regulations on waste disposal and investing in better sewage treatment infrastructure.
