Some of you may have heard of it, but those who haven't, Discord is going get rid of the number tags (#0000 and so on) and replace them with individual usernames, similar to the ones most socials like Instagram and TikTok use

From what I've seen, the vast majority of people think this is a horrible idea and so do I. The number tags work perfectly fine and they've been there for so long there's no point in replacing the system with something worse. The new update would restrict those who want minimal or stylized usernames, because those would no longer work. From what I know, you'll still be able to have a "display" name but it literally just looks ugly
