Notes from CRAG Meeting

• Great CRAG meeting tonight. The Chilliwack Recreation Advisory Group is one of the areas that DualsportBC works for you its members.
  Some key points from this meeting are:
  Gondola Project:
  Presented online Petition numbers, are geographic details of our over 2600 persons (and growing) signature in less than a week. Thanks Tom. (Today Jan 25 over 5600 signed)
  Seemed as if all user groups at the table from motorized to equine and bipeds are opposed to the projects CRA (Controlled Recreation area) and gate locations.
  RSTBC is also concerned about the broad sweep of restriction. We will have specific contacts for letter writing campaign and petition delivery in coming weeks

NO decision on the project is imminent from Government.

Tomorrow Jan 26 our ORV motorized representatives (including 4x4ABC) will be meeting with the Cascade Skyline Gondola Project proponents. No agenda has been released.
