Ever since I was young, I've held a deep love for animals. Their presence in our world is invaluable. It's heartbreaking to imagine a world without them, and it's even more heartbreaking to know that unnecessary testing is causing many of them harm and even death. It doesn’t have to be this way; together, we can make a change.

Animal testing is a practice when people from small or big business test there makeup products on animals to test if the product is safe . According to Humane Society International, millions of animals are used in experiments worldwide every year. These animals go through  pain, fear, and death, often.

Animals play a crucial role in our ecosystems and our lives. Be it the cheerful chirping of birds, the industriousness of bees, or the faithful companionship of a pet dog, each animal has an important role in our Ecosystem . Imagine a world without these amazing animals   .

In today’s age, we have alternatives to animal testing, such as in vitro testing, computer modeling, and advanced imaging techniques. These methods provide scientifically valid results without causing harm. As society advances, so too should our ethics regarding our treatment of animals.

I am urging you to join me to call on policymakers to pass legislation that puts an end to animal testing. This includes funding and research for alternative methods. It’s time to shift the focus towards more humane practices that protect animals and meet research needs effectively.
