There is a desperate need for a high school in Offerton, more and more houses, apartments and flats are being built with no education facilities being offered locally.

Children are being forced to attend secondary schools miles away from where they live, this means using either public transport or parents adding to congestion on the roads from cars taking the children in.

Offerton High School is still standing and needs re opening to meet the high demand in this area.

The buildings on site are still standing and while money would need to be spent on repairs etc., it would be an investment in the health, happiness and well being of local families.
