Animals are abused every 10 seconds in our country! Several of these horrid acts of cruelty go unreported! Every day violent acts of abuse, torture and murder are committed against innocent animals. The random acts of such torture and murder are ethically and morally indefensible! This also sends a message to children that life has little value or no importance! Children who torture and kill innocent animals often turn into violent murderers and serial killers!

The FBI has finally made animal cruelty a felony but the penalties and jail sentence are not harsh enough. We are a society of animal owners and lovers. The individual states and Federal Government must enforce harsher penalties for the abusers who inflict insidious pain, torture and murder on innocent animals, especially cats and dogs! Everyday I see so many horrific posts on social media about animal abuse, starvation, abandonment and murder! We have to send a message to these monsters and irresponsible animal owners that it is not okay to commit such despicable acts! Maybe, this will deter some people who intentionally commit crimes against their own pets and others.

I am a staunch advocate and lover of animals. Knowing the torture that is inflicted on them is something we can change, if we work together. I demand that the laws be changed! Please help me accomplish this...thank you for your support!
