The issue

Please sign the petition to show your disagreement with the imposed change at St Augustine’s Primary School Wodonga, from a two stream to a three stream school.

Our school community is deeply concerned about significant enrolment increases being imposed on St Augustine’s by Catholic Education Sandhurst leadership without consultation with staff, parents, or the wider school community.

We are of the understanding that these changes may lead to:
• Overcrowded classrooms & staggered play times
• Increased pressure on students and teachers
• Loss of library, art & language learning spaces
• Reduced support for student wellbeing and learning needs
• Threatening of our proud 150 year history & close knit culture

This is not about opposing growth or new families joining our school.

We are asking for:
• Genuine consultation with families and staff
• Transparency around enrolment and class size plans
• Appropriate staffing, traffic and infrastructure considerations
