To start this off, I will first shortly explain the situation: Star Ocean 5 is going to edit a small part of one of the main characters outfits (Miki Sauvester) by making her panties to be a bit larger. Is this a major deal or an edit that will ruin the game? No, honestly it's such a minor detail and won't honestly effect players like myself. But the change should not be made, and that is the reason I made this petition.

It is such a small, silly detail that should be left untouched. No one is going be be hurt or offended by the tiny panties of a fictional character, and censoring her outfit will only draw criticism from fans and players, people who ACTUALLY play the game. We are are upset that the developers of this game are forcing themselves to limit their creative freedom out of fear, fear from a group of internet bullies who harass the good people of the gaming community and target artist and developers over ridiculous things like revealing outfits. I am talking about the fools who call themselves the "Social Justice Warriors".

From my own experience and from what I've seen, petitions almost NEVER work when they are used for video game related causes. Hell, petitions rarely work out in genera. I'm just hoping that this will start a movement, something to get people to rise against the bullies called the SJW who attack and berate both gamers and hard working, creative developers who strive to make quality games. They are ruining game culture and forcing people to censor their work simply because they have fits over how a fictional character looks like.

Square Enix, tri-Ace don't give into the fear from those ignorant, hypocritical bullies! Their hold on you is nonexistent, they have no real power! The people who complain and criticize silly things like panty size and lewd outfits almost NEVER even play the games they are whining about. SJW barely even play games to begin with! They won't effect your company or your sales of the game, the only thing that will effect your company is the feedback from your loyal fans, the consumers who ACTUALLY play your games and love them to the fullest extent! Censoring your game will only make your true fans upset.

Don't give in to the pressure like Capcom, Nintendo and Koei Tecmo did; look what happened to their respective games and the fans reception when they censored their work. It didn't work out and their fans are still upset over what has been done. As fans we want your company to succeed and will always support you to the fullest, and refuse to let a group of bullies harass you. The SJW are only a minority, a very loud one at that.

Nothing good will come from your censorship, and doing so will give those fools more power that will go to their heads, and they will think they can boss you around in the future and will continue to harp on your work and limit your artistic creation.

So please Square Enix, tri-Ace, DO NOT censor Miki's panties out of fear, the only people who will be upset are your devoted fans who want to see your games to their full potential.

We cannot let those villains continue to ruin video games by harassing developers and us, the fans and consumers who support them. They only have power if we let them have it, and it's time we stand up and show them that bullies hold no sway over the good gamers of the community like us and the developers who put their heart into their work.
