The National 5 Maths exam given to pupils as an exam in 2017 was abnormally difficult and did not match the levels of papers sat in previous years. The SQA should lower the pass marks and grade percentages as the exam was absolutely unfair. The N5 Exam was seen as difficult to many pupils all over Scotland and this is seen on Twitter where hundreds of pupils expressed their opinions towards the SQA and the exam on the social network.
