Fumito Ueda is a brilliant game director who spent the last 7+ years working on his third game, The Last Guardian. It has been warmly received (source) and exceeded expectations in sales (source). His first two games, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus were masterpieces that received a highly rated PlayStation 3 port (source) from the talented engineers and artists at BluePoint Games (source).

With the power of the PlayStation 4 (PS4) and the PS4 Pro Model, the sales of The Last Guardian, and the large PS4 owner install base, it is the perfect time to bring Ueda's first two games to the PS4 in 1080p / 60fps. While it is currently possible to play the PlayStation 3 port via the PlayStation Now streaming subscription service, I believe that the compressed visuals, low framerate, and problematic input lag don't do the games justice.

The hope for this petition is to show interest in such a port from the fans of these two inspirational titles.

I believe Shadow of the Colossus is a brilliant game that should be experienced by all in the best possible conditions. It's one of my favorite games ever made, and one of the best arguments I have for Video Games being considered an art form. It's an inspirational game that has influenced some of the most respected names in the Video Game Industry (one source), and could influence a new generation of players 11 years after its initial release.
