Reading is a town based on high tech industries and needs to maintain a high tech university.
Electronic Engineering Cybernetics and Computer Science have been taught at Reading University for over 40 years.
By closing the School of Systems Engineering the University would no longer be able to call itself a high tech university. This would be a great loss for the University, the town of Reading and the people of Reading. This would affect not just for this generation of students and researchers but generations to come.
