Better signage on the left hand only lane towards M6 everyday is a near miss motorists use the left hand only lane and go straight in to the Collector Road.

Everyday I see motorists going up the inside left hand only lane chasing a danger to other road users.

You cannot see the signage when there is traffic as it’s only painted on the road there is no prior signs coming from Castle Vale. If you use the castle Bromwich island from Newport road towards you will have no doubt seen the near misses everyday and the serious collision a few months back.

Ive wrote to Birmingham City Council who responded by painting the road again but this is part of the problem people cannot see the markings and therefore think it’s acceptable to go straight on in the left hand only lane.

There needs to be a filter lane or more prominent signage on the edge of the road to prevent taking your life in your hands everyday at this notorious stretch of road.

We can as a community make the changes as a lone voice isn’t cutting it. I plan to get this petition and present it to the council to make the changes.
