We are both elderly pensioners and travel on the tube to get there as I need to accompany him. This will put a huge strain on our resources if we have to pay. Yes other areas do not get this benefit but Londoners have extra costs anyway living in the most expensive area in the UK.

How can that be justified. Surely it would be better to restrict for 60-66? Or preferably not at all
