� The deadly virus ,Covid-19 , orginated  in  a “ live” animal market in Wuhan ,China. The market was shut down on January 1,2020 .  A “live”animal meat market sells both live and dead animals for human consumption.There are many live animal meat markets in NJ which are breeding grounds for disease and can spread the same viruses that are currently plaguing the entire world . The animals that are killed for “food”at these live markets suffer immensely as they are confined to tiny enclosures and exist in filthy conditions where zoonotic diseases are transmitted.These diseases, as evidenced by  Covid -19 , spread like wildfire , wreak havoc and cause death in the lives of both human and nonhuman animals .Many are located in NJ residential areas ,pose a serious health risk within our communities and to our residents .Please help STOP � the spread of deadly diseases by joining NJ and NEWARK SAVE MOVEMENT ( part of a national organization) by SIGNING this petition to have these Live animal markets shut down immediately and permanently.
