Governor Murphy

Governor Phil Murphy is an American financier, diplomat, and Democratic-party politician who has served as the 56th Governor of New Jersey since 2018. Prior to taking office, he had a successful career at Goldman Sachs and served as the United States Ambassador to Germany under President Barack Obama from 2009 to 2013. Known for his progressive policies, Governor Murphy has championed a variety of causes, such as funding public schools, strengthening gun control, legalizing recreational marijuana, and raising the minimum wage.
