I strongly support health care reform and I want Congress to pass it this year.  The nation listened on September 9 as President Obama addressed the Joint Session of Congress.  He called forcefully and eloquently for passage of a health care reform plan.  He listed these essential elements: coverage for all Americans, more efficient and better care, elimination of rules on pre-existing conditions and rationing, experimentation by the states to reduce malpractice suits, and a public option to provide an alternative to ensure lower costs and competition.  I urge the Senate to support a plan as outlined by the President, only if it includes, or be part of singlepayer, with CCA, so, please, advocate for singlepayer healthcare, with CCA, Community Choice Act (for the disabled, etc.); H.R. 676 & S. 703, are the best of the lot, so far; i.m.h.o..
