Patricia Uram has dedicated her life to helping others. Throughout her twenty (20) plus years in the United States, Patricia has been a model of good character. She has volunteered her time with Calvary Chapel, Catholic Charities, Broward Sherrif’s Office (with Sheriff Ken Jenne and with Sheriff Al Lamberti), The American Red Cross, St. Gregory’s Catholic Church, the National Multiple Scelorisis Society, and many other organizations.

Unfortunately, her request and appeal for asylum was recently denied; nevertheless, she still fears returning to her native country of Colombia. Through her generous example of giving and volunteering, Patricia has touched many lives and it is clear that she will continue benefiting this country with her dedication and her work if DHS/ICE utilizes their prosecutorial discretion in granting her request for a stay of removal.
