AUSTRALIA - ZERO EMISSIONS BY 2050

The science is clear, climate change is the most serious threat facing our planet today. We need to act against this issue that impacts not all Australians, but all people globally. We need to do something and step-up as a nation, and we need to do it now.

Australia needs to make a deeper commitment to climate change.

I, like many Australians, feel we have not met our obligations and targets stated in the Paris Agreement. We already have to work harder to meet our first goals and we will only get further behind if we don’t act quickly and decisively. We are due to submit an updated Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs), with a post–2030 target, to the UNFCCC in 2025.

Therefore, I am looking for 10 000 signatures to show Australia's Prime Minister Scott Morrison, along with the rest of the Australian Government, we need to commit to zero emissions by 2050.
