My daughter is angry and upset that she has to wear a dress to school and her brother gets to wear shorts. She wants to wear shorts because it's easier to play... "Mum, I don't like my undies showing when I do a power shot in handball, or doing handstands and cartwheels. I can't play soccer at lunch because I am in a dress."

The school currently has a uniform policy that girls must wear a dress. They do not have the choice about shorts or a dress. 

I would like you to support this petition as forcing girls to wear dresses is archaic and in some texts it is referenced that not having a choice to wear shorts is patriarchal and gender discriminatory (see below)

Police, Banks, Airlines and Government, have all allowed Women to have the choice... Now it's my daughter's turn. 

Please help me demonstrate to the school that the Girls uniform is to be changed in 2021.
