They are facing a real threat to their lives. The Islamic Republic has directly threatened to kill them.
Mike supported: Provide protection for Iran’s women’s national football team
My dear friend, Elaine Pandilovski age 44, was one of the many women who have been murdered by a current or former partner. Her son at age 12 was left to be raised by his elderly grandmother. He has autism. That was in 2020 and things have only gotten worse since. There is deafening silence from both sides of politics on this issue. Where’s our national day of mourning? Where is the action on this? If you are silent you are complicit. These deaths are PREVENTABLE!!!! DO something NOW!!! Why the hell are people who have histories of violence and DVOs out on them getting bail? Why don’t sentences match the crime? Where have we failed women during the justice process? There was outage at the Bondi terrorist attack and I expect the exact same level of outrage and action on this. Governments have blood on their hands.
carolyn supported: Royal Commission into the Killing of Australian Women and Girls
Every woman has a story about men either hurting them or making them uncomfortable or scared of being hurt. Too many women are being hurt and killed. Children grow up seeing it. It’s time we actually face the issue and investigate what is contributing to the problem, and what can and must be done to help.

As a survivor of Domestic Violence, I am one of the “lucky ones” I got to keep my life. Enough is enough we need real action.

We in the Bega Valley have lost homes due to fires, rising rental house prices, home ownership is too expensive for most and holiday rentals have taken the place of residential rentals, and when people are trying to find ways to resolve these issues, council sets laws that make it impossible and keep people struggling! Would the members of council prefer people sleeping in their cars and under bridges? It seems so. Obviously too narrow minded to be open to new solutions and ways forward for people in the Bega Valley.
Samarpan supported: Stop Tiny House Evictions - Time for Bega Valley Council to Act
I am a new migrant who calls Australia home and I recognise the hurt of colonisation. Therefore I support to have a different date to celebrate a united Australia which is inclusive of older and newer inhabitants of this beautiful land.
Silvia supported: Create an Australian Long Weekend: Move the Public Holiday from Jan 26
It shouldn’t even be said why this sort of thing should not be acceptable. We should not normalize or fetishize this sort of behavior. Some may compare it to other games that have you do illegal stuff; but rape should not even be comparable. This is personal, this is traumatizing, and this has affected many real people.
Nathan supported: @Steam: remove No Mercy rape + incest game globally NOW!
As a teacher, I hear hundreds of young men admitting that they don’t know where to turn to learn about sex or healthy relationships, because they are constantly faced with this filth. I hear as many teenage girls thinking that this is something they have to look like they are ok with for fear of being rejected or broken up with. Our society is drowning in consent programs, and then producing ‘games’ like this. For those of us who saw the red lights in ‘Adolescence’, who claim to care about young people, violence against women, or the hearts and minds of our future men, the responsibility falls to each of us to see material like this returned to the put from which it came, and seen for the sickening version of sex that it is.
