School shootings are the most dangerous and dreadful drills that schools and young children ever have to practice. The result of the situation is unknown until the harm is done.

No one thinks that their school will get hurt until they hear over the PA, “Please move into your lockdown position, this is not a drill.” Schools need more help in protecting the safety of students. We need to help make the change to require all schools to be equipt with a one button lockdown-like security system to ensure the safety of students and young children. 

I am proposing that all schools in the United States or territories of the United States are required to have a lockdown security system. These systems include:

The security systems listed above, with a touch of a button, will put your school on lockdown within 3 minutes. Once the button is hit, the entire school receives a notification that they are on lockdown on their phone, tablet, or computer. Police can see data being delivered in real time so they know immediately how to react when they arrive at the scene. This allows them to quickly apprehend the active shooter.
